How booking works
From first enquiry to the last song, this is what to expect.
Send us your date and venue
Use the form or call. We confirm availability and ask how many guests, what time the event runs and which services you want.
Get a package built for your night
You receive a written quote with hours, inclusions and any add-ons. Nothing is locked in until you are happy with it.
Plan the details
In the weeks before, we go through your music, booth print design and bar menu, and confirm timings with your venue.
We run it on the day
We arrive early to set up and test. Your booked hours start once everything is working, and we pack down after.
Rooms we already know our way around
We confirm bump-in times, power and noise limits with the venue before the day, so set-up is faster and there are fewer surprises. These are rooms we have worked in, not venue partnerships. All logos remain the property of their owners.
Saturdays go first
Spring and summer Saturdays fill as soon as venues are confirmed. Send us your date and we will tell you straight away whether it is free.
Before you book
Can I book a DJ and a photo booth together?
Yes, and most of our clients do. You deal with one contact, one quote and one set-up crew, and the DJ and booth attendant coordinate timings between themselves on the night.
Where do you cover?
All of Sydney, from Bondi and Surry Hills to Chatswood, the Inner West, Western Sydney and the Shire, with delivery included. Beyond the metro area we travel anywhere in Australia, with the travel quoted up front rather than added later.
How much does it cost?
DJ and booth packages show a starting price, and the pricing page lists them side by side with GST included. Bartenders, letters, projection and audio visual are quoted to your event. What moves the number is the length of the booking, the date, and how many services you take together. Send your date and what you are after and you get a written quote rather than a range.
How far ahead should I book?
Saturdays in spring and summer fill first, so wedding couples usually lock in their date as soon as the venue is confirmed. Weeknight corporate events and smaller parties can often be booked at shorter notice. Send your date and we will tell you straight away if it is free.
Do you need anything from the venue?
A standard power point near where we set up and access to load in before guests arrive. We have worked at many Sydney venues and will check their bump-in times and noise limits with them directly.
Is someone there for the whole event or do you drop the gear off?
The DJ, the booths and the bar are staffed for the whole booking, so there is always someone running them. Letters, projection and lighting are delivered, set up, switched on and collected after, because there is nothing for anyone to operate.
Do you have public liability insurance?
Yes. We carry public liability insurance and send a certificate of currency straight to your venue. Most function centres will not release a bump-in slot without one, so tell us who it goes to when you book.
When does my booked time start?
Once everything is set up and tested. Set-up and pack-down time is not taken out of your hours.
